business outcomes are stronger now than they have ever
been. September of 2016 saw the NASSCOM BPM Strategy

CEOs and analysts sharing their perspectives. Held from
The Summit started with a welcome address and was witness
to some rather insightful discussions focusing on how a great
business could be built around a great idea and factors that go
into making it successful. Digital strategy was also a recurring
key theme, especially with regard to operational structure. A
session on Business Process Services as the next big evolution
was clearly the need of the hour and it didn’t disappoint. Panel
discussions on digital business services and customer service
for millennials focussed on doing away with scripted customer
service and create a personalised connect. It threw light on how
digital business services actually work. A debate on ‘Writing Off
Legacy’ marked the end of day one of the summit.
Day two began with the registration and networking and a panel
discussion on ‘Cognitive Automation’. A summit on BPM would
be incomplete without a discussion on the ‘Impact of Brexit’ on
the industry. The current and future state of the BPM was also
discussed at length. A panel discussion on ‘Design Thinking’
threw light on the ever evolving business process industry.
The Summit ended with a celebrity keynote by sports personality
Javagal Srinath.
